Being hospitalized can be a stressful experience, with quality care, comfort, family support, and proper nutrition playing essential roles in the recovery process. However, many patients face challenges like long travel distances for family members, lack of nearby facilities, and financial constraints, making it difficult to receive their necessary daily nutrition.
To address these concerns, Gokuldham Nar, with the generous support of our donors, launched the Vishvambharam Tiffin Service. This initiative ensures that all in-patients at three nearby hospitals receive adequate nutrition. Since 2018, our dedicated volunteers have prepared healthy and nutritious meals daily in our central kitchens and delivered them free of charge to patients and their families at the Government Hospital, Saadat Hospital, and Yamuna Surgical Hospital in Tarapur, Gujarat.
In addition to serving hospital patients, we also provide freshly cooked meals twice a day to elderly and other individuals in need, entirely free of cost. To date, we have proudly served over 77,519 meals, bringing nourishment and support to those who need it most.
