Tri-Cycle Distribution
Empowering Independence: Hand-Propelled Tricycles for the Disabled
People with disabilities, particularly in rural areas, often face exclusion and marginalization due to a lack of awareness, support, and essential services. Barriers to education, training, and employment can significantly affect their quality of life and independence.
At Gokuldham, we recognize the importance of mobility for people with disabilities and have taken steps to support their independence. We distribute robust, hand-propelled tricycles to those in need, enabling them to move freely without relying on others. This newfound mobility not only enhances their physical freedom but also provides psychological and economic benefits by empowering them to engage more fully in their communities and pursue opportunities.
To date, we have distributed 335 strong and safe tricycles at our annual events, with the blessings of our Saints and generous donors. This initiative is a critical part of our mission to improve the lives of people with disabilities, offering them the independence and dignity they deserve.
Advantages of Tri-Cycle Distribution

- Economic Opportunities: With increased mobility, recipients can access education, training, and employment opportunities that were previously out of reach.
- Social Inclusion: Mobility empowers individuals to participate more actively in community life, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and marginalization.
- Improved Quality of Life: Physical movement aids in overall health and well-being, boosting confidence, self-esteem, and psychological health.
- Durable and Cost-Effective: The robust design of the tricycles ensures long-term use, making them a sustainable solution for mobility challenges.
By distributing these tricycles, Gokuldham provides a powerful tool for enhancing the independence, dignity, and overall well-being of people with disabilities.
